Sound circle sessions

Sound Circle Retreat at Peninsula Hot Springs

A full day of deep rest, relaxation, and gentle recalibration, set within the beautiful natural surrounds of the Springs.

The day begins with a deeply restorative sound journey, held in the Glasshouse during the cooler months, or the open Wellness Space in Summer. Here, you’ll be guided into stillness as you are immersed in the healing sounds and vibrations of crystal and Tibetan bowls, gongs, drum, chimes, and other resonant instruments. As the body softens and the mind quietens, the nervous system begins to settle — creating space for release, reset, and renewal.

Following the sound journey, you’re invited to spend the afternoon at your own pace, soaking in the geothermal waters, resting, and enjoying the peaceful surrounds.

By the end of the day, you’ll feel deeply relaxed, rebalanced, and reconnected — with yourself and with nature. A beautiful and nourishing pause amidst the busyness of everyday life.

Held on the first Friday of each month, this offering is a gentle invitation to slow down and come home to yourself.

Sound Circle at Elwood Angling Club

Held monthly by the water, these Sound Circle gatherings offer a space to slow down, soften, and reconnect.

Set within the calm, coastal surrounds of Elwood, you’ll be guided through a deeply restorative sound journey designed to gently settle the nervous system and invite the body into a state of rest and balance.

As the sounds of the instruments weave with the natural rhythm of the ocean nearby, the mind begins to quiet, the breath deepens, and the body softens — creating space for release, reset, and renewal.

This is a space to simply be… to lie back, be held in sound, and share in a warm and welcoming community.

Held once a month (second Sunday of the Month), these sessions offer a gentle pause in the busyness of life — a moment to return home to yourself.

Sound Circle - Red Hill Mechanics Hall

Sound Circle sessions at the Red Hill Mechanics Hall are held monthly and offer a deeply grounding and immersive 1.5-hour experience designed to calm the nervous system, release tension, and restore energetic balance. Participants are guided through a one-hour sound journey, immersed in the resonant tones of crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, chimes, monolina, and other sacred and modern instruments, inviting a profound sense of stillness and renewal.

The spacious, earthy setting of the hall provides a beautiful container to slow down and turn inward. Following the sound journey, there is time to gently re-emerge and integrate the experience with a nourishing cup of tea and mindful treats. This closing integration supports deep restoration and leaves you feeling grounded, rebalanced, and refreshed — ready to return to daily life with greater clarity and ease.

Held on the Last Sunday of the Month, this is a wonderful way to relax, unwind and reset for the week ahead

Collaboration Yin Yogassage & Sound Healing

This beautifully curated Yin Yogassage & Sound Healing collaboration with Zoë and Lucy offers a deeply restorative, two-part experience designed to gently soothe the nervous system and invite the body back into balance. The journey begins with a nourishing one-hour yin yoga and massage practice guided by Zoë, where supported postures are complemented by mindful meridian-line massage and conscious breath, allowing the body to soften, release stored tension, and gradually downshift into a state of rest and ease.

The experience then flows seamlessly into a deeply calming sound journey with Lucy, where waves of sound and vibration from crystal and Tibetan bowls, gongs, and other resonant instruments guide you into stillness. These healing frequencies quiet the mind, support emotional release, and restore energetic harmony, leaving you feeling grounded, nourished, and gently rebalanced.

We close the experience by grounding back into the body with tea, nourishing treats, and relaxed conversation in community, allowing time for integration and connection before returning to the rhythm of daily life.

These sessions have been run at Hum Yoga & Pilates studio in Dromana, but will be unfolding at other beautiful venues across the Mornington Peninsula…..

Held in the tranquil surrounds of The Cambium in Red Hill, each session includes gentle nature walks, collecting treasures from the land, and creating meaningful, nature-inspired art. The experience closes with a calming sound healing journey, offering children a sense of stillness, grounding, and deep relaxation.

Thoughtfully designed to nurture young nervous systems, encourage creative expression, and support emotional balance, these sessions provide a safe and supportive space to unwind and simply be.

Sound Circle - Kids Afterschool Programs

Over two years, I had the privilege of running a Sound Circle After School Program at Elwood Primary School — creating a calm, nurturing space for children to unwind, reset, and reconnect after a busy school day.

In a world where children are often over-scheduled and overstimulated, I consistently witnessed the power of offering simple, embodied tools to help regulate the nervous system and gently manage stress.

Through a blend of breathwork, mindfulness, guided visualisations, and a 25–30 minute sound bath, children learned how to self-soothe, focus their attention, and tune into their inner world. Over time, I observed beautiful shifts in emotional regulation, concentration, confidence, and social connection.

The children’s own reflections spoke volumes:
“I feel invincible,”
“I feel so relaxed,”
“I feel like I can do anything,”
“I had a headache when I came in and now it is completely gone.”

These moments highlight just how deeply sound and stillness can support children to feel calm, capable, and connected — when given the space and the tools.

I am excited to be launching similar programs to the Mornington Peninsula very soon
